Live Love Ride - Portugal Bike Tours liveloveride.com

We did Erie Shores with BCR. The tour price was reasonable for the nice accommodations and added ferry rides. The routes always included some educational/interesting sites to visit, and always wineries. The tour directors know the area well and directed us to some small hidden sites to enjoy. The small group of 15 allowed for very personalized service, including picking up our wine purchases at each winery. Nice job.- Ellen, St. Jacob, IL

I rode the Amish Country Adventure. It was a great ride and Buckeye Country Roads took a personal interest in everyone and did all possible to make sure all went well. Compared to other tours I have been on it was also a very good value. I will definitely go on another of their tours and highly recommend them. - Steve N., Henderson, NC

We did 2 days of cycling with a guide. Ricardo was great at telling us about the route and the sites. It was challenging riding but so worth it for the scenery. He also took us to great places to eat.- Kristie and Mike, USA

I'm just back from 2 weeks in Portugal where I sandwiched a wedding in between a week in Lisbon and a week in the Douro...with two days cycling in both places. Riccardo and the Live Love Ride team were GREAT from the very beginning. They helped make and secure travel plans that included transfers to hotels/location in Portugal, hotels and of course amazing riding experience.  About the riding... Riccardo provided plans to ride 5 days based on my goals, skill levels and desires. After the first day resulting in saddle soreness, he was quick to make adjustments to the rides as needed. The Scott Addict road bike was amazing; while not as geometrically aggressive as I'm used too, the upright positioning helped greatly with the climbing. And there is a LOT of climbing :) Note...if Riccardo says something "will be worth it" he is right...but you will have to climb for it! LOL I have to say a word about Riccardo. The love and passion he has for his homeland is only surpassed by his knowledge and desire to show it off! But more than that is his easy going nature. Constantly helpful and willing to answer questions, provide recommendation, and suggestions. His adaptability was great as my plans changed during the week and he not only allowed for the adjustments but went out of the way to help everything run smoothly. And when he says a restaurant is the place to go...GO!  But most importantly, in him I gained a friend. And my Portugal experience is all the more memorable because of him and Live Love Ride! Until next time! - Tony G., USA
